Mogan nominated for ‘Footballer of the Week’ award

Peadar Mogan has been nominated for the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week following his performance in yesterday’s Ulster final penalty win over Armagh.

The St Naul’s clubman hit two points, including the equaliser in the second half of extra-time.

Mogan is shortlisted alongside Dublin’s Brian Fenton and Louth man Conor Grimes for their performances in the Leinster final.

Meanwhile, his teammates, Shaun Patton, Caolan McGonagle, Daire O Baoill, Michael Langan, Niall O’ Donnell and Oisin Gallen are also named in this week’s GAA Team of the Week.
