Mc Gonagle & Sons, part of Mc Gonagle Group Ltd based in Malin and Letterkenny are one of the leading Plumbing, Heating & Mechanical Services companies in the North West. They are seeking to recruit a number of additional staff members to join their dynamic and hardworking team.
(A) Office based Admin Person – Full Time Position
– Ideally with some experience in Plumbing / Construction but it’s not essential – Applicants should have experience in Microsoft Office.
– Excellent Communication Skills.
– Ability to work effectively on their own initiative and as part of our team.
(B) Qualified Plumbers and 2nd / 3rd Year Apprentice Plumbers – Full Time Position
– Skilled Qualified Plumber(s) and Apprentice Plumber(s) to join our team with experience in Commercial and Domestic Plumbing, Underfloor Heating systems and Heat Recovery Ventilation systems.
(C) Estimator / Project Management – Full Time Position
Duties will primarily be to assist in the areas of estimating, material procurement, project management etc.
Candidates should ideally have:
– Experience in the area of construction admin, mechanical engineering/construction industry and the preparation of tender submissions
– Good knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects etc – Ability to work effectively as part of our team
– Good knowledge of on-site Health & Safety
– Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / Autodesk would be an advantage but not essential
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
– Preparation of cost estimates
– Preparation of tender and pricing documents
– Provision of procurement advice
– Cost monitoring/cost control on various sized projects
– Visiting sites and attending meetings
