McGuinness picks fresh faces for opening McKenna Cup tie with Armagh

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has introduced some new and very young blood for Wednesday night’s Dr McKenna Cup Section A opening game against Armagh.

The game throws in at 7.30pm with a large crowd expected at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

At least two teenagers will get a run after both Naomh Conaill’s Finbarr Roarty and Seanan Carr from Four Masters were named in the starting line-up.

Patrick McBrearty will captain the side as Kevin McGettigan from Naomh Conaill, Oisin Caulfield from Na Rossa and St Eunan’s Ciaran Moore also make their competitive debuts.

See below for the full named starting line-up and subs.
